Weekend Update

Let’s see…what did Dave and I do this weekend?  Friday Dave had to work a little late since he was on call, so once he got home, we pretty much spent the evening relaxing.  Chris came over to play some video games while I slept on the couch.

:)

On Saturday, Dave and I were on a mission.  The mission was to find a sectional sofa and leather recliner for the living room.  Our current sofa and oversized chair just aren’t cutting it anymore and will definitely not be enough seating room once Eli is born if I’m predicting the number of visitors we’ll have correctly.  We had immediate success with the recliner.  We went to the La-Z-Boy store and spent a god awful amount on a quality recliner.  The sales guy swore to me that it would last 25 years…which I *guess* makes the price reasonable.  It’s pretty nice though:

We found an awesome place with sectional sofas and we’re pretty sure that we’ve picked out the one that we want.  We needed to make some measurements before purchasing it, but I think we’ll be going back soon to buy it.  Then, YAY, living room will be much more open and visitor friendly!

Since she hasn’t made an appearance lately, here’s Miss Mollie enjoying all the new traction she gets on the wayyyy bigger living room rug:

After some furniture shopping, we met up with Chris and Kacy at The Twisted Fork for some dinner and dessert.  If you guys have never tried their desserts, go there.  Soon.  I felt kinda sorry for our server.  We ended up hijacking his table for about 5 hours!  Here’s quite possibly the last pic I’ll take of Kacy preggers with Nicholas!

She’s due this Thursday!  Can’t wait!

Sunday was pretty much a lazy day, but we did have a two hour breastfeeding class to attend.  They made us practice with these:

Ugh…creepy.  And seriously, who wants to practice breastfeeding a fake baby in a room full of couples?  Not Lindsey.

Before I knew it, it was Monday morning and time to go to work!  Hope you guys had a great weekend!!
